I'd like to get my son (9) into reading graphic novels, and would also like recs for my nephew, who is 7. My nephew loves reading as long as there are lots of pictures, and he loves superheroes, so my first thought was... graphic novels! But I need some help convincing my sis (his mom) and my mom (one of his reading coaches) that this is a good idea.
I have all of the main Sandman series myself, and will probably let my son tackle that soon as he is a sharp kid and has a pretty mature mind, but I don't want to start him or my nephew off on that. I know people out there must have great recs. What do you think?
